SIAST Wascana Campus (Regina)
SIAST's Wascana Campus, located in the city of Regina, opened in 1972 as the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. In 1987, the Regina Plains Community College and the Wascana Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences merged and the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology was born.
In 1998, plans were set to move all the programs to one location — the former Plains Health Centre. The grand opening ceremonies were held in September of 2000 and to commemorate the event, over 1,000 employees created a giant SIAST logo out on the campus' front lawn.
The programs offered at Wascana Campus provide opportunities for students to upgrade their education and to prepare for rewarding careers in applied/visual media, business, community/human services, health services/sciences, industrial trades, nursing and technology.
Wascana Campus is also a great place to work. For more information on the exciting career options available at Wascana Campus, please visit Careers @ SIAST.
